Loan FAQs & Resources

Pay From Your SCCU Account:

  • Set up an automatic recurring transfer in Online Banking: sign in to your Online Banking account and select Transfers.
  • One-Time Account Transfers: Transfer funds from your existing SCCU savings or checking account using the Transfers tab in Online Banking, or via the Transfer Money tab in Mobile Banking
  • Need to add funds to your SCCU Account?
    • Mobile Check Deposit: Use our Mobile Banking App (available for Android and iPhone) to deposit a check from any financial institution into your SCCU savings or checking account. Then transfer these funds to pay your loan. (There may be a delay of funds when checks are deposited through Mobile Deposit)
    • Wire Funds to Your SCCU Account: To wire funds to your new SCCU account from another financial institution, you will need our Wiring Instructions
    • In-Person Deposits: Stop by any SCCU Location or Shared Branching Location* to make a deposit in person.
      • *Contact your loan officer's direct line, or call/text us at 906-632-5300 to activate your Shared Branching Access

Pay From Another Financial Institution:

  • EasyPay: Use EasyPay to make your SCCU payments using a credit/debit card or check from another Financial Institution.
    • Payments received after 4:30 pm will be posted to the member’s loan on the next business day.
    • SCCU Visa Credit Card and Mortgage Loan payments are not accepted through EasyPay at this time. 
  • Set up Automatic ACH: Complete and sign the ACH Authorization Form.
    • Fax the ACH form to 906.632.6631 or
    • Bring the ACH form to any SCCU Branch.
  • Utilize Bill Pay from your current financial institution.

Additional Options: 

  • Payroll deduction: You may have your employer automatically forward your payments. Obtain a form from your employer to complete.
  • Bring payment to any of our Branch Locations or Shared Branching Locations.

When will my first payment be due?

Your first payment will be due at least 30 days from the date it was funded. You can find your payment date using the following methods: 

How do I find my account number?

For security purposes, please contact your loan representative, or call/text the Loan Line at 906-632-5373 to request your account number.

How do I view monthly loan statements?

You can access your monthly loan statements by signing into your Online Banking Account.

Can I change my loan payment date?

Yes; you can change your monthly payment date to either the 15th or the 30th of the month.  Contact your Loan Officer's direct line, or call/text the Loan Line at 906-632-5373 to request this change.

Debt Protection

We offer Life, Disability, and Unemployment Protection* for those unexpected life events. Protect your loan in the event of death, terminal illness, hospitalization, medical leave, and involuntary unemployment.

*Certain eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions may apply. Please contact your loan representative to add this protection to your loan. Premiums will be added monthly and your payment may increase to cover the cost of the protection. 

GAP/GAP Plus Coverage

If your vehicle is totaled or stolen, your insurance settlement for its current market value may not cover the total balance of your outstanding loan. Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Coverage* helps pay off your auto loan's "GAP" or the remaining balance due after the insurance settlement. Deductible Assistance is also included to get your deductible reimbursed in case of an accident. GAP Plus will help put $1,000.00 towards the purchase of your next auto in case of a total loss.

*If you did not already purchase GAP Coverage from your dealership, SCCU offers GAP protection for an additional cost. Please contact your loan representative if you would like to add this coverage to your loan.
